Tool Storage

I made this little quilting tool holder this week and I think it turned out pretty cute. I used Pellon to keep it stiff. I wanted it to have a quilted look and I wanted it to be sturdy, but I didn't want it to be thick. So that is why I went with Pellon instead of batting, for this project.

It came together really fast. I added tabs to the back to hold a dowel so I can hang it and it will stay flat against the wall.

I made skinny double fold binding tape to cover the edges.

The corners aren't perfect But I still think it's cute. I'm pretty happy with it.

  1. Very nice and nice job! If you had made it larger (up and down ways and not side to side) you could use it as a sewing machine apron. Flat part goes underneath your machine and pockets hang down.
